- We Use our Own Vacuums Most homeowners in the Twin Cities have bad luck loaning their vacuums to housekeepers and maids alike, because vacuums require significant ongoing maintenance and occasional repairs. If you allow a housekeeper or neighbor to use your vacuum regularly, then be sure they have agreed to maintain and/or repair it. Sooner than later, it will need it. Maid In Minneapolis uses and maintains our own vacuums. They have very fine filters to keep the air in your home cleaner. Our vacuums come with attachments designed to clean your furniture, curtains, corners and stairs.
- We Provide Most Cleaning Supplies The cleaning supplies used by Maid In Minneapolis are primarily commercial products tailored for residential use. Most of our cleaners are mild, easy on the environment and unscented. We also carry common cleaning products from the supermarket you might be familiar with. Sometimes for our Initial Cleanings, we will use stronger products (i.e. Ajax with bleach), such products are used only with permission from the homeowner. We take caution with fine fixtures and use mild cleaners that can be used on fine fixtures and surfaces for years without wear and/or damage.
- Special Product Request If you prefer a specific product which we do not carry, we would be happy to use it when we clean your home. We do ask however, that you supply it.
- Please Provide these Supplies There are several cleaning supplies that we do not provide; furniture polish, stainless steel cleaner and marble/granite cleaners.
How many persons will clean my home?
We're really flexible. Most clients require only one housekeeper yet, some also prefer a minimum of two, so that we are in and out faster. It doesn't matter whether you choose one, two, three or four cleaners...all work is completed based on hourly rates and estimate. Because we usually pay our housekeepers more than other cleaning companies, they often work for us over a longer period of time and provide consistent quality. For this reason we retain our customers the longest periods of time while offering outstanding cleaning service.
Do all Maid in Minneapolis housekeepers speak English?
Maid In Minneapolis has some exceptional housekeepers who have been promoted despite the fact that they speak no English. Speaking English is not a hiring prerequisite for us and so it therefore cannot be a prerequisite for promoting individuals.

What if I want something extra done?
Then we'll do it. We do extra stuff all day long. We do not have a list of things which are excluded from every assignment.
How do I know how much it is going to cost?
We'll let you know upfront. All payments are based on Maid In Minneapolis estimates that are based on the size of your building and any additional tasks you have requested. Should our housekeepers determine that the work will surpass the estimate, we will contact you in order to receive your approval to proceed beyond what has been estimated. However, this rarely happens.

Not good. If it is necessary to cancel/skip your regular cleaning day, Maid In Minneapolis requires a 48 hour notice. If we receive less than 48 hours notice, or can't access your home, it will be necessary for us to charge $75.00
